Congratulations to Emma Bell of Barrett & Coe Essex who has been chosen as winner of the inaugural SuperDog Photographer Excellence Awards!

The awards were formed to recognise the quality of photography among our Approved and Recommended studios and are judged by a representative of our charity partner Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Three of Emma’s entries were selected for their excellence in the latest SuperDog of the Month competition and, as a winner, she receives £50 and a winner’s certificate.

We caught up with Emma to get her reaction to her success: “I’m honored to be chosen as a winner for this new award, it’s fantastic to receive recognition for my photography in a job I love so much. The dogs featured in each image were great fun to photograph and you really can see all of their personalities shine through!

Emma has been a photographer at Barrett & Coe Essex since 2020 after graduating as a fine-art photographer and has gone on to achieve several SuperDog of the Month and Baby of the Month winning images.

The studio is recognised as Essex’s premier portrait studio, welcoming families, babies as well as pets. Situated in converted barns in Coggeshall, the studio is just off the main road between Colchester and Braintree.

The village boasts some lovely antique shops, cafés, and a garden centre close by, and with Colchester Zoo not far away, it makes a lovely day out, particularly if whole families are there for a photo experience.
